 SIMPLE IDEAS ARE OFTEN THE BEST!
Pursuing a policy of simplicity, I have recently designed a new product to protect Cockpit and Cabin sides from rope chafe damage to the gelcoat surface. Called the ‘WearAndTear pad’, it consists of an ultra thin sheet of marine grade stainless steel, bonded in place with a high spec adhesive tape. Following 2 years of successful trials on my Beneteau First 375, where the Genoa furling line had been chafing grooves in the cockpit surround, the product is now available worldwide through our website www.WearAndTearPads.com

Sized at 150mm x 50 mm (6” x 2”) and 225mm x 50 mm (9” x 2”) these laser cut pads are priced from £11.95 each with postage and packing extra. Orders are handled through our distributors listed on our website or directly through the website above.
The product has been on the market for over 3 years and over 6000 orders have now been received from around the globe. As you will see from the photos, these ‘pads’ are visually attractive and completely eliminate rope chafe damage to gelcoat finishes.
