Jeanneau Fete
50th Anniversary Fete at the Jeanneau Les Herbiers Factory July 2007
On Saturday 7 July Jeanneau employees along with their families, dealers and importers, as well as people who have left their mark on the boatyards, all gathered together in a festive atmosphere at the Les Herbiers site to celebrate Jeanneau's 50th birthday.
This provided an opportunity to throw open the doors of the Bois Verts production workshops, with informative panels explaining the different stages of a boat's production.
Following the visit, at the end of the morning, Mme Roux, Mr Cathelinais, Mr Greggory and Mr Hallaire formally opened the parade. This parade, accompanied by 50 Jeanneau employees' children, was a procession of famous and historical Jeanneau boats (a wooden boat, the Alizée, the Caraïbe, the Sangria, the Love-Love, etc.) and today's boats (the Cap Camarat 635, the Prestige 50S, the Sun Odyssey 54DS etc.). All these Jeanneau boats were carried on floats, which were towed by vintage cars such as the Dauphine, the Aronde, the Floride, etc.
