Philipa is in Rügen, Germany. December month / -5 oC, very cold and windy

Very nice place !!!.  Only Philipa and look at woodwork/pier. You don´t wan´t to walk on it.

No dinner in the local restaurant.

Over a periode off approx. 10 years, I have had the following new Jeanneau boats:

SO 32.2

SO 34.2

SO 37

SO 40.3

And now the SO 42DS - Great boat. All boats have the same name “Philipa”

In Denmark the VAT is 25%, in Germany last year it was 16 % (now 19%). The rules in Denmark

is that if the boat is 3 months old and has gone 300 hours on motor, then it is a “used” boat . If the boat

is sold in Denmark and delivered in Germany, then you only have too pay the German VAT. So that is

what we did. Delivered in Germany / Flensborg were we picked here up and sailed too Rügen in East-

Germany and went on to Helsingborg in Sweden. The boat was out of Denmark in 3 months so the VAT

was reduced.
